Oats Mango Parfait- Healthy and Tasty

-- Breakfast is considered as the most important meal of the whole day. Breakfast is always taken on an empty stomach. So, we must choose our breakfast food with great care. Most people choose healthy and nutritional food for their breakfast option. A proper and healthy breakfast can boost your immunity and makes you fit. Are you tired of having those same old regular breakfast foods? You and your family want to try some new variations, but you are unable to manage within less amount of time! 

-- In this blog, I am going to describe the preparation method of "Oats Mango Parfait". This is very healthy and full of nutritional values. It can be a better option for breakfast for almost all age group of people. I have skipped using sugar in this recipe and used honey which is a healthy alternative to sugar. All the ingredients I have used here have nutritional values. It is very simple and it can be prepared within only 10 minutes. Hope you guys will try it and like it.

Ingredients:

1. Oats- 1/4 Cup
2. Milk- 1/2 Cup
3. Water- 1/2 Cup
4. Honey- 2 tablespoon
5. Ripe Mango- 2
6. Muesli-1/2 Cup
7. Hung Yogurt- 1/2 Cup


Method:

-- First of all, take a pan and pour milk and water into it. Make sure both the milk and water are at room temperature. Then add oats into the pan. With the help of a spatula, mix it well. 

-- Now, turn on the flame and start cooking the oats porridge. Once it starts boiling, slow down the flame and cook it for 2-3 minutes at a low flame. Make sure to stir it continuously. Otherwise, it will stick to the bottom of the pan and burn. Keep the consistency of the porridge normal. Don't make the consistency too thick or too thin. Add honey into it. Keep it aside and allow it to cool at room temperature. You can definitely add sugar or jaggery instead of honey. I am using honey here because it's healthy. 

-- Wash and peel off the outer skin of both the mangoes. Cut one mango and put the pieces in a blender. Make a smooth mango puree. Cut another mango into cubes and keep those aside.

-- Take a glass and clean it properly with the help of a dry cloth. Add one layer of oats porridge to it. On its top, add one layer of mango puree. Then another layer of muesli. After that, add one layer of hung yogurt. Yogurt must not have excess water. You can repeat these steps 2-4 times for addition of more layers according to your requirement. On the top, add mango cubes. You can also add a mint leaf for garnishing or sprinkle few drops of honey over the mango cubes. Now, it's ready. You can serve it as a breakfast to your family. You can definitely give it a try.
