Baked Paneer Tikka Tacos : super scrumptious, super appetising, super healthy, desi version of Tacos 🌮
Ingredients -
For marinate :
1 cup Curd
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
2 tsp red chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp cumin powder
1 tsp amchur powder
1 tsp Kasturi methi
1 tsp garam masala
1.5 cups paneer cubes
Salt as per taste
For masala :
2 tsp oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup tomato purée
1/4 cup diced tomatoes
1/4 cup diced onions
1/4 cup capsicum
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp Kasturi methi
Salt as per taste
For garnish :
Grated Cheese
Grated cabbage
Mint chutney
Onion greens
For dough :
1 cup Maize flour or (1/2cup flour 1/2 cup besan)
1/2 Maida
1/4 Oil
1/4 Water
Salt as per taste
Method :
For filling : mix all the ingredients and marinade the paneer for 30mins. Heat some oil in a pan, add jeera , onions , tomato purée and sauté for 2-3 mins. Add in the marinated paneer and all the herbs. Mix well and lastly add raw onions , capsicum and tomatoes. Cook for 2 mins.
For dough : mix all the ingredients and knead a soft dough. Keep it aside for 10 mins. Roll it thin , apply some oil on both the sides and bake for 7-8 mins in a preheated oven at 180 degrees.
For assembling : take a taco shell, add grated cabbage, paneer mix, top it up with some grated cheese and mint chutney.
Optional : you can bake it again for 2-3 mins untill the cheese melts.
