Summer days are back and so is our craving for thick shakes..Considering the current pandemic situation we all are advised not to take any cold stuff..
We all need to be really cautious and try not to eat or drink cold stuffs that can cause cough and cold be it ice cold water, chilled beverages and shakes or Ice cream..The doctors have strictly told not to consume any cold item that can directly or indirectly affect your lungs..We all crave for shakes and beverages in summers so I decided to make a popular summer season shake without ice and ice-cream.

So for this recipe also I have avoided the use of ice cubes..Although every thick shake or cold beverages use ice cubes but I would suggest you all not to use it..Also since I avoid castor sugar and prefer using alternatives like honey, brown sugar and jaggery, so for this recipe also I have used honey..Also, to give it a nice presentation I used whipped cream for the top decoration..If you're also planning to do this please use whipp cream available in the market especially at bakery stores or the ones which have more than 30% fat content..The reason is if you will use cream with less than 30% fat content, the peak will not form well. Also I have added yellow colour in whipped cream to make it look appealing..

The recipe goes as: {for 1 glass }
● Take a medium sized mango and after peeling it , cut it into pieces
● Take 3/4 glass of milk and add both milk and mango pieces in blender
● Add 1 tbsp of fresh cream {optional}
● Now add 1.5 tbsp of honey ..You can also use castor sugar or brown sugar depending upon the sweetness you wish to have in your shake..
Fruits have their own natural sweetness and it is always advisable to dont mask that flavour by adding extra sugar..
●Now blend it well
●Empty it in a glass and fill it little below the brim..Now add whipped cream on top using a piping bag and nozzle of your choice {you can also make a temporary piping bag with cellophane at home}. I have not added any extra sugar while whipping cream and have used only colour ..The whip cream that you get from market in a tetrapack already has subtle amount of sweetness so you can skip adding powdered sugar in it..Still if you wish you can add flavouring agent or essence..
Garnish it with mango pieces.
Your mango shake is ready to be enjoyed ..
