Why is this tradition celebrated?

The demon was raising women dressed in nice and beautiful clothes. Then Lahua Ghond gods reached this village and killed this monster. The day was Bhado Sakranti, which is also known as Kala month in the local language. And since then these Lahua Ghond deities have been worshiped.
