Store Management - way to maintain store.

Before starting, we have to know the title "STORE MANAGEMENT"  carefully.

•What is store?
    A store is a place where we present and display our goods and products in a systematic way.

•What is Management?
    Management is the control or organization of something.


Now, In this article we are going to discuss about Store Management.


•Store Management:- 
To manage and control the activities in store is called Store Management.

To manage the store, we have to first look around the store atmosphere because if we look into this condition and try to improve it, then of'course our business will enhance.
 
We all want our products to be a brand that is well known among the people. Therefore we have to take some responsibilities. We can't effort to turn away.

About Store Atmosphere:- The following points must be necessary to make a proper store.

1. Cleanliness of the counter
2. Rest rooms
3. Music
4. Clean floors and ceiling tiles
5. Lighting
6. Odours
7. Organized billing counter
8. Visual Merchandising
9. Planograms


Let's discuss about the points one by one:

1. Cleanliness of the counter:- The counter where we display our goods must be clean, neat and tidy. Computer system, telephone sets 📞 and accessories should be cleaned and wiped with an antiseptic solution cloth to prevent infections.


2. Rest rooms:- Store rest rooms should always  be sparkly clean whether they are open for public used or not. Make sure the availability of plenty of paper products, soap etc and clean it daily.


3. Music:- Playing soft music in the shop or store can help to create a certain atmosphere for the customers.


4. Clean floors or ceiling tiles:- Many accidents happened due to the dirty floors.  Dirty carpets, stained flowing and ugly ceiling tiles can turn off many shoppers as they disappoint the customers.


5. Lighting:- Replace the burn out light bulbs as soon as possible. Make sure all customer areas of the store have ample lighting. Lighting makes the look of store more beautiful.


6. Odour:- Customer wants fresh fregrance in any store. They doesn't want to deal with the smell of fertilizer or anything if they visit a lawn, garden centre and any stores.


7. Organized billing counter:- This particular area where a customer financial transition takes place. It should not show any signs of disorganization. All types of facility of payments should be available like credit card, Paytm wallet, Google pay etc.


8. Visual Merchandising:- The purpose of visual merchandising is to attract customers to the merchandising for closer examination. It will increase the approaching of customers to our store.


9. Planograms:- The first eight points should be performed in a plan way is called planograms.
