How to revive a Dead Computer?

Have you ever thought of reviving a dead computer? It's not something we like to think about but your computer will fail forever if you give up on it. If you give it a try well before time, you can revive your dead computer. It may be simply the floppy drive is not reading the disk which can lead to a major system crash. User Error is the most common reason for computer malfunction. When the user is at the computer, he or she may unknowingly add or delete certain files( some files on pc are very important to keep it working, or else it may malfunction). We must always remember that since we’re human, the user error may be easy to solve by simply asking if he/she installed any software,re-configured any software or hardware settings, etc.

Very few percentages of people know that computer malfunctions are also due to environmental factors such as power surges caused by lightning, resulting in overvoltage. Another cause for failure could also be room temperature being too high or low, or it may be due to dust, dirt, or sunlight. Try the Power Switch to turn on/off 2 to 3 times. Also, check the wall outlet for power. If the outlet has power, check the power cord itself from wall to computer. 

If the monitor proves to be good, check the Video Card, even if it is a new system. If you’re a regular user of your computer system, it may be that Windows will fail to load completely. Some preventive measures can also be done often to keep your PC give its best performance. Windows utilities as Scandisk, Disk Defragment, and Disk Cleanup will help your computer performing at its best. 

Simply use a can of compressed air to remove dust which may also become a reason for causing a short circuit. If your computer boots up by trying these simple hacks, but it does not want to read from the hard drive, then maybe the Master Boot Record on the hard drive may be corrupted. In order to verify that the master boot record has not been damaged, boot from the floppy disk that contains the FDISK program and simply type the command ” fdisk MBR ” to restore the master boot record onto your hard drive.
