FIVE HELPFUL APPLICATION THAT ENHANCE YOUR SKILLS.

Hello everyone !! Before diving into it our today's topic just want to tell you'll how I came across these digital learning platforms... So in the last year during the lockdown I made this wise decision of learning something good instead of spending my whole time on social media or bingeing through Netflix. Even now I do scroll through the social media apps but instead of spending a lot of time there I've reserved some time for learning as well.
Well now let's have a look at 5 helpful apps that might help you acquire some new skills or might work as an add-on to your knowledge. Here's the list -

1. Upgrad

2. Coursera

3. Google Primer

4. Alison

5. Udemy

(The apps mentioned can be easily downloaded from Google Play Store or Apple store)

1. UPGRAD

Actually I came across Upgrad through some YouTube ads last year. Initially I ignored those as I assumed it to be some high cost medium of learning but to my surprise when I checked it's website I came to know that it's an online learning platform which offers a range of post graduate programmes as well as free courses for undergraduates.  Learning material (it's a combo of text, videos & quizzes) is quite interesting & interactive here. On completion of course you are also rewarded with a certificate within 5-6 days. Also they provide career counseling through their student mentors who guide you to pick up a better course in future. You can view their courses on their website - https://www.upgrad.com/

2. COURSERA

Courseera is a global learning platform which again offers specialisations, online courses (both free & paid) and degrees from recognised universities across the globe. Personally I found Upgrad's content more interesting while courseera was a bit boring for me. Incase you're looking for deep knowledge and detailed learning you should definitely select courseera. Courseera also offers flexible deadlines which means that if you're not able to complete your assignments on time you can add on some extra days to finish it. Plus you can download the learning material & enjoy buffer free learning. Click here to check out the courses they offer & create your new account for free.

3. GOOGLE PRIMER

Unlike previously mentioned apps Google Primer is a little different one let's see how...

Google Primer is a free app which offers minicourses on digital marketing & business skills. It consists of 5 min interactive lessons. So basically it's only for the people who want to learn about digital marketing and businesses. One drawback is that it doesen't provide you any certificate because the learning time is too short. But it's quick sessions with real world examples will help you learn easily & quickly. It's best for the people who want to learn something but don't have much time to give in. You can install the app from the link below 👇

4. ALISON

Alison is a learning platform which concentrates more on the office skills and provides both free & paid courses. It comes in different languages too. It has come up with 2500 free courses recently. They offer courses in fields of IT, Languages, Sales & Marketing, Management, Businesses, Teaching & Academics, etc. Check out their website for more information - https://alison.com/

5. UDEMY

And the last one for today is Udemy. In fact Udemy was the first app I had tried. Udemy is a great platform for you if you're a beginner & for instructors i.e the tutors as they can easily create courses and sell them on preset platform like this! Free courses of udemy are a good option for you if you just want to learn & explore but they don't offer certificates while some paid courses do. There are many good instructors at Udemy I have completed few courses on web development from this app. To know more click here.

Note - If you're looking for professional teaching & certification I recommend you to use Courseera or Upgrad only.

I would also advice you all to read terms & conditions and do proper research before purchasing any course from the above mentioned apps.

Finally, there maybe many better apps than these 5 as I've shared only the ones I used for myself.  If you find this article helpful share it with your friends and hit the like button too ❤️ Also If you know any better learning apps do comment down below and let others know about it too because "gyaan batne se hi badhta hai"...
