BOLLYWOOD ACTORS WHO WON'T WORK TOGETHER

The Hindi film industry is ruthless, co-stars grow overwhelmingly fond of each other then turning spiteful the  next moment.

Friendships here, are broken at the drop-of-a-hat and there r ample cases of actors who have vowed to never work together on a project.

The most obvious duo that will never work together are actors Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Both Salman and Aishwarya were an absolute joy to watch in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Hum dil de chuke Snama. The chemistry between the lead pair was palpable and was a result of their brewing off-screen romance. The film was a huge hit and fans hoped to see the dreamy pair more often on the big screen. The duo reportedly called it quits in 2001 after their relationship soured and the couple was never seen together in a public event or on the big screen.

Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut have had a very public rift since 2016. Hrithik and Kangana have worked together in films like Kites and Krrish 3.

Hrithik had alleged that someone was impersonating him and communicating with Kangana from a bogus email id. Whereas Kangana had alleged that the email is was given to her by Hrithik. Roshan had then sent a legal notice to Kangana in 2016 after she referred to him as a 'silly ex' in one of her interviews. Hrithik denied dating Kangana and even made a tongue in cheek comment where he said that there were more chances of him dating the pope. The actors have never seen eye to eye since the public spat and are unlikely to collaborate on a film together

Ajay Devgn and Shah Rukh Khan are both bonafide superstars but the duo have never worked together on the same film and cine fans are unlikely to see them together. Both Ajay and Shah rukh have had a long-standing rift despite Shah rukh being a very close friend of Ajay’s wife Kajol. Industry insiders suggest that the rift started in 2012 when the Ajay and SRk clashed at the box office as Jab taj Hai jaan and Son of Sardaar released on the same day. Ajay's film reportedly got fewer screens and that left the tanhaji star red-faced. The duo has had a more cordial relationship lately but they are unlikely to work on the same film together.

From Andaaz to aitraaz, Mujhse shaadi karogi to Waqt: the race against time, Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra set screens ablaze whenever they paired together on screen. Rumour has it that Akshay and Priyanka dated each other briefly and became close during the shoot of Aitraaz in 2004. Their closeness was believed to have made Akshay’s wife Twinkle uncomfortable. Akshay swore to never take up any project with PeeCee and he terminated his contacts with her. Priyanka, later, also went on to publicly declare that she will never work with him again. The duo has always denied the dating rumours but they haven’t also collaborated on a film together nor have been seen offscreen together

Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor were the IT couple back in 2007. The duo was paired opposite each other in Imtiaz Ali’s Jab we met and the pairing was loved by fans and critics alike. Both Kareena and Shahid’s career was dwindling but the film’s success revived it. Kareena and Shahid were in a long term relationship but co-incidentally broke up after the film and went their separate ways. Although Shahid and Kareena worked in Udta Punjab but they were not paired opposite each other in the film and didn’t share screen space.

Abhishek Bachchan and Karisma Kapoor were nothing less than Bollywood royalty and the couple’s engagement was confirmed on Amitabh Bachchan's 60th birthday in 2002. Abhishek and Karisma had been dating for 5 years and were smitten by each other. However, the couple`s engagement was called off. Reports suggested that Karisma's mother Babita had reportedly asked for a pre-nuptial agreement.

Abhishek and Karisma who worked together in haan maine bhi pyaar Kiya, were never seen together on the big screen post their engagement being called off. Even Karisma’s sister Kareena vowed not to work with Abhishek again.

And finally Love blossomed between John Abraham & Bipasha Basu on the sets of Jism back in 2003, and then there was no looking back. The duo worked together in Madhoshi, Aetbaar and Dhan Dhana Dhan goal and were inseparable off screen as well. John and Bipasha dated each for over a decade and their break up came as a bolt out of the blue for fans. The duo has never worked together on a project since then.
