-- Here in this blog, again I am going to present another healthy and tasty breakfast recipe that is "Strawberry-Oats Delight". Some ingredients are too good for our health when they are consumed in breakfast like fresh yogurt, oats, fruits and honey. Oats is a nutritional food that can be consumed by all age groups. Most people don't like the texture of traditional oats porridge. They can definitely try this version recipe.
-- I have avoided using sugar here. Instead of sugar, I am using honey in this recipe. Honey is a healthy alternative to sugar and it also adds good flavour. If you are having high blood sugar, you can skip adding honey too. But if you are interested to add sugar, you can add it instead of honey. This recipe is very easy to make and the total preparation time is only 10 minutes. No need to spend hours making breakfast when you can simply prepare it within minutes.
Ingredients:
1. Strawberries slices
2. Yogurt- 1/2 cup
3. Roasted Oats- 1/3 cup
4. Rooh afza- 2 tablespoon
5. Milk- 1/2 cup
6. Water- 1/2 cup
7. Honey- 2 tablespoon
8. Cashew and Almonds - 5-6
Method:
-- Take a blender and put some roasted oats inside it. You can take the ready-made roasted oats directly. Otherwise, you can also make roasted oats at your home. Then, add cashew and almonds into the blender. Blend them all and make a fine powder. No need to roast the nuts, you can blend them raw. This powder can be stored in an air-tight container for 30 days. You can also prepare more quantity of this powder at once and store them. This powder can be used whenever you want.
-- Take a heavy bottom vessel and pour milk into it. Make the milk boil at medium flame. Take oats powder in another bowl and add water into it. Water must be at room temperature. Mix the oats powder with water and make sure to avoid lumps.
-- After that pour that oats-water mixture into the boiling milk. Change the flame to low immediately. Stir continuously otherwise, oats will stick to the bottom and it will burn in no time. After 2-3 minutes, oats will be cooked properly and the consistency will be normal. Turn off the flame and add honey. Mix it well. Avoid making too thick or too thin consistency. Keep it aside and allow it to cool at room temperature.
-- Take strawberries and after cleaning those, cut them into two equal halves. Now take a dry and clean glass. Pour 1 tablespoon of rooh afza into the bottom. Then add one layer of oats into it. Above it add one layer of fresh yogurt. Add one layer of sliced strawberries. You can repeat these layers 2-3 times according to your requirement. On the top, put some strawberries and add 1 tablespoon of rooh afza. You can also garnish it with some mint leaves (it is optional). Hope you guys will like it.
