IMPORTANCE OF LITERATURE IN HUMAN LIVES
"WITHOUT LITERATURE, LIFE IS HELL"
-Charles Bukowski
Literature enables people to see through the Lenses of others, and sometimes even inanimate object ; therefore , it becomes looking glass into the world as other view it . It is a journey that is inscribed in pages and powered by the imagination of the reader. Ultimately, literature has vided gateway to teach the reader about life experiences from even the saddest stories to the most joyful ones that will touch their heart. A novel allows the reader to envision their memories, and their pain and their emotions without being that person. consequently, literature can act as a time machine, enabling individuals to go into a specific time period of the story , into the mind and the soul of the protagonist of the novel with the ability to see the world with a pair of fresh eyes, it triggers the reader to reflect upon their own lives. Reading material that is relatable to the reader may teach them morals and encourage them to practice good judgment.
The importance of literature was quite unclear concept for me until | came across " five feet apart " novel by Rachel Lippincott . This novel featuring two teenage main characters , Stella and will who are both patient in the hospital with cystic fibrosis that fall in love. Stella grant has been in and out of hospitals her whole life. Born with cystic fibrosis, her best option for a better life is a lung transplant, to that end, Stella is a strict about her treatment and diligent about keeping the five feet apart rule with others cystic fibrosis patients. Will Newman also has cystic fibrosis but recently argued B cetacean infection that has taken him off the transplant list. He is tired of hospitals and medicines. He is what a Stella needs to stay away from and yet she finds that she cannot do. Something about will make Stella embrace life fully for the first time. Will is dangerous to Stella as contact with him can get her off the transpla list. There must be always five feet of separation.
Rachel Lippincott delivers an intriguing, emotional, well plotted and well written read here with relatable and likeable characters that I could not help but to fall in love with. They complemented each other so well that I really felt for them. Both of their situation and feelings toward each other were beautiful .

Novel
Five things that "five feet apart" taught me are following:
1) live big because life do not give us enough chances.
2) Take risk, you never know which moment is your last.
3) love! do not be scared of it. Loving will not kill you but not doing it
will surely kill a part of you.
4) Take chances! we can die today; we can die tomorrow but we can make our life worth living.
5) breath! take a deep breath and enjoy your today. We are all on borrowed time. Instead of focusing on making your tomorrow good,
make your today even better.
